R.O.E. and the Soulvillians have released a live album, Live from Chicago, recorded at Double Door in The Windy City. This album is released with a riveting blend of stage presence, live instrumentals (keys, drums, bass, and lead guitar), crowd interaction, and strong writing that result in a captivating performance.
“I give one thousand percent every time I’m on stage,” explains R.O.E. “I want to create a memorable moment for fans whenever they attend a concert. The type of moments they cannot get by listening to the studio recorded material.”
The album gives the listener a live spin on tracks “Good Times,” “Beware,” and “Runaway” from the 2014 To Happiness EP and covers of “The Light” by Common and “Doo-Wop (That Thing)” by Lauryn Hill.
Musical guest include contributions from Taylor Mallory, Erthe St. James, and Jeff Gibbs (The Jeff Gibbs Quartet).
